My top 3 travel product picks

Travel is slowly becoming a thing again and I couldn’t be more excited. Gosh, I’ve missed taking my kids places and just seeing different sceneries. The beauty of your backyard starts to fade after a full year if you know what I mean.

We have a couple trips coming up and I’m starting to think about products that must make it into my bag. I know it’s hard to just chose a few and not take the whole bathroom sink. Your usual cleanser and night time moisturizer are must, but there’s other products that serve multiple purposes and are super important to have on hand while away. I’m here to help you narrow it down!

SPF- this will forever be number one in my book. Nothing is worse than the feeling of a sunburn to me. Eminence recently relaunched their lilikoi daily defense moisturizer SPF 40 and I’m in love. It’s lightweight and wonderful. Not only does it protect against the UVA/UVB, but also blue light stress, and pollution. By taking this along you have a moisturizer that doubles as sun protection. With any of Eminence’s mineral sunscreens you want to warm a small amount up in hands, apply to forehead, nose and cheeks first, then work into rest of face, neck and chest. Let the skin absorb the SPF moisturizer before adding more. Always apply your sunscreen 15 minutes before going out.

Masque- I love nothing more than a a good masque after being in the sun and water. As we know, the outdoor elements are rough on our skin.. so we need to really spoil and replenish the skin after exposure. Stone crop masque to the rescue. Stone crop is in the same family as aloe but 10x more potent. This mask is insanely soothing and hydrating, which is exactly what sun exposed skin needs. I suggest applying a dime size amount of this masque to clean, damp skin and letting it sit for 20 minutes before removing with a warm wash cloth and then splashing your face with cool water.

Lip balm- don’t forget to protect your lips. They often burn faster than any other part of the body due to lack of melanin. Rosehip and lemon grass lip balm has a SPF of 15 and keeps your pout protected and hydrated. The applicator is super easy to throw in your beach bag, and don’t forget to reapply every 2 hours.

Hi loves— thanks for coming to my little corner of the world. It means so much that you’re on my website and in turn supporting me and my small business. Thank you so much.

Hi loves— thanks for coming to my little corner of the world. It means so much that you’re on my website and in turn supporting me and my small business. Thank you so much.

When I first had the idea of a website I envisioned it just being centered around my business. I wanted somewhere that my new and current clients could find all the answers to their questions and more, until recently when I had a friend suggest I have an area within my website where I share more personal things. She knows I’m an open book to say the least. I love sharing not only things like food, favorite products, and places...but experiences. Then another friend chimed in.. “If you told me to go to Mexico to get something I’d do it.. because “Molly says”.” It stuck, and that’s why this part of my page is called just that. “Molly says”. Just trust me when I say we have A LOT to chat about!
